Calculate your Body Mass Index from height and weight and see which WHO category it falls into.
Body Mass Index is calculated with the standard formula BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². It's the same method used by the WHO and most clinical guidelines, and it gives a quick screening figure — not a full body composition reading.
BMI doesn't separate muscle from fat, so athletes and very muscular people are sometimes classed as "overweight" even when their body fat is low. Use it as a starting point, and talk to a doctor for a fuller picture of your health.
It's a population-level screening tool. It's less accurate for athletes, older adults, pregnant women and children, who are better assessed with other measurements.
For most adults, 18.5 to 24.9 is considered the normal weight range, though healthy ranges can vary slightly by age and population.
